Moose
Moose was a chocolate lab. DAD had his mother and
she had 11 puppies. We picked the 4 females from the litter and found
homes for the rest. Moose was purchased by one of our representatives.
When Moose turned 1, his human mom said this dog should be a drug dog,
so we took him back and trained him. One of his sisters also made it as
a drug dog, she retired before Moose. Moose retired at 8 years old in
the Muskogee area.

Pogo
Mr. Pogo retired in July, 2009 and now lives
in Central Oklahoma with a loving family and a DAD
Rep that worked with him for many years. He is
having a great time and we get updates on him
often and he is still quite a character!
Quick
Quick retired
with a family on the lake and is so, so happy. She loves "shagging"
tennis balls and loves to leap in the water to retrieve whatever is
thrown that direction. Her favorite snack is peanut butter and she
really enjoys snuggling on her "silk" sheets. What a life!

Rufus
In September of 2009, Rufus began having problems with his back legs
and was limping on occasion. After sporadic problems, we had Rufus
x-rayed and was advised that he had a pretty bad case of hip dysplasia,
which is something that larger dogs can develop. Considering all
the options and knowing that Rufus would often be trying to work in
pain, D.A.D. made the decision to retire Rufus, so he could relax and
not strain his hips.
Rufus first certified for D.A.D. in October,
2007 and has worked in Northeastern Oklahoma and
Western Oklahoma. He is a wonderful dog and loved his
job so much. We are proud to say that he has retired in 2009 with one of
his handlers and is very happy sleeping on her bed... taking up the
entire bed! He is loving life – sleeping and playing.
He loves to go swimming in the pool and picks up
his toys and buries them until he has time to play
with ‘em. What a guy…..We will miss you Rufus
and thank you so much for loving all the kids that
you have met and for being such a wonderful
partner over the years. We love you!

Zeek
Zeek was a chocolate lab. He had a beautiful
block head and would tilt his head to the side when he heard a squeaky
sound. He was a pretty boy! He retired at 10 years old and went back to
the family that donated him to us when he was 1 year old.
